What Does Accessible Yoga Really Mean?

"Sure, a lot of our work is centered around adapting asana, but to me, the main teaching of yoga is that we have peace, joy, spirit—the divine essence, within each of us. These practices are designed to allow us to access that essence, and move beyond the surface level experience of a physically advanced practice to go deeper."

—Jivana Heyman

In this short dharma talk, Jivana shares about the term "Accessible Yoga." The phrase is being used so much these days—the hashtag #accessible yoga has more than 80,000 hits on Instagram, which is incredible! But what does "Accessible Yoga" really mean?
